I wasn't entirely happy with the first design so attempted it again with less black and tighter knots, this is the outcome.

Like an engraving on some armor backing from waist up. This style tends to have a metal-like feel to it from the shading and line type. It's very nice. I especially like the detail you made the lion's arms go front and back.
